21/11/2023 Shared Care Agreements

The Primary Care Network has decided not to enter into Shared Care Agreements. The reason for this is that the NHS stipulates that the patient will need to be “re-assessed for NHS treatment within the same regime of priorities applicable to NHS patients. Patients will need referring into the appropriate clinic for confirmation of diagnosis according to ICD-10 diagnostic criteria.”

Closure of the COVID Pass service

01-12-2023 09:00 AM GMT

The NHS COVID Pass service will close on Monday 4 December and be unavailable to patients after this date.

There are no longer any domestic requirements to demonstrate vaccination status, and no countries require proof of COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of entry.

You may see an increase in the number of people asking about their COVID-19 vaccination information. Most patients can see this information in their GP health record in the NHS App, but please remind patients that the COVID Pass is no longer needed.

The NHS App continues to provide a simple and secure way for people to access a range of NHS services.

Missing or incorrect covid vaccination records

If the vaccination was done by Bampton Medical Practice, we may be able to resolve the record by accessing the national system.

If the vaccination was done elsewhere the patient will need to contact the VDRS Service.

Covid Vaccine Data Resolution Service (VDRS)

The Vaccine Data Resolution Service (VDRS) aims to resolve missing or incorrect vaccination records for people vaccinated in England who have a current NHS number and are registered with a GP practice in England. This can be accessed by calling 119 and asking to be referred to the Vaccine Data Resolution Service.

Covid Vaccinations given abroad

Patients who were vaccinated abroad whose records do not yet appear on the NHS app.

Patients will need to access the following link:

https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-vaccination/tell-nhs-about-coronavirus-vaccinations-abroad/

For all covid vaccine queries, please call 119, please do not call your GP Practice.
