Home Visits

carer2It is helpful if you can telephone before 10.30am if you require a home visit.

You will need to give your name, address and telephone number and an indication of why you are requesting a visit by the doctor. This will enable the doctor to assess the urgency of your request. The doctor may telephone before visiting.

EARLY VISITING SERVICE

The local group of surgeries have changed they way that home vists are undertaken.  Some home visits will be sent to the Early Visiting Service, this is based in Witney but they have a Emergency Care Practitioner (ECP) who will come and see you.  If you have requested a home visit and the GP decides that you will have a visit from the ECP you will be informed of this when the GP phones you.  The ECP will deal with your condition and will then feed back to the GP.
